Invertek Drives

Invertek Drives is dedicated to the design and manufacture of advanced variable frequency drives.

Invertek Drives perfectly represents our values of quality, trust, and efficiency. The robustness of their products, along with their contribution to energy efficiency and sustainability, makes them highly recommended for all the ventilation systems we design.

Our strong partnership with Invertek Drives Iberia, built over many years of close collaboration, allows us to exclusively offer specific frequency converter models tailored for air extraction and supply installations in the hospitality sector.

All Invertek products are designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001:2015 quality and environmental management system standards.

What are variable frequency drives and why are they essential?

Variable frequency drives (VFDs), are part of our daily lives, often without us even noticing. We encounter them regularly—for instance, when we take a lift, swim in a pool, or eat at a restaurant.

Converters regulate the output frequency and voltage so that the electricity supplied to the motor matches the actual demand of the application. This reduces motor energy consumption by 40% to 50%.

Intelligent motor control provides numerous operational and environmental benefits. Using frequency converters improves productivity, increases energy efficiency, and extends the lifespan of equipment. As a result, properly managing electrical consumption leads to direct cost savings.

Depending on the application, there are various types and models of frequency converters. The first parameter to consider is the input and output voltage, which can be single-phase or three-phase. At Morgui, we have in-stock drives for both categories:

  • 220 V Single-Phase - 220 V Single-Phase
  • 220 V Single-Phase - 220 V Three-Phase
  • 220 V Three-Phase - 220 V Three-Phase
  • 380 V Three-Phase - 380 V Three-Phase

Optidrive variable frequency drives are well known for their ease of installation and use. They can be operated using digital or analogue potentiometers, or remote touchscreens. Additionally, their IP20 or IP66 protection is ideal for withstanding handling by personnel, exposure to dirt, and even high-pressure washing.
