W-BACnet Wireless DIN Bridge
W-BACnet DIN
The W-BACnet DIN is designed for mounting on the DIN rail of an electrical cabinet. It converts BACnet MS/TP device communication into wireless communication. The device supports up to 100 devices on a BACnet network. It is compatible with all BACnet MS/TP devices.
Modbus and BACnet wireless technologies enable the creation of a Modbus RTU or BACnet MS/TP wireless network that maintains protocol standardization. By converting Modbus or BACnet signals to a wireless network, you can send your Modbus or BACnet measurement messages wirelessly with low latency. This option significantly reduces the need for control cables in your installations, saving valuable time and costs in installation planning, wiring, serial connection, and troubleshooting. A Modbus or BACnet wireless system is also an excellent choice for projects where cables are undesirable or impractical.
For example, the Modbus wireless network utilizes the latest wireless technology innovations to deliver exceptional reliability, even in the most challenging radio environments. The wireless Modbus bridge, used for conversion, can be configured as a gateway connected to the Modbus client or as a node connected to the Modbus server via cables. The Modbus wireless network can consist of up to 100 nodes and uses the unlicensed 2.4 GHz international ICM band.
