The LPH 10 monitors the resistance of the sensors. When the sensor gets wet, the resistance decreases and the alarm relay is activated.
The LPH 10 is a water leak detector that constantly monitors the resistance of the water leak sensor. The water leak sensor (VVA or VVN) can be anchored to the floor in the monitored area, for example.
When the sensor gets wet and its resistance drops below the alarm threshold, the relay is activated, the audible alarm sounds, and the indicator light switches to bright mode. When the sensor dries out and its resistance exceeds the alarm threshold, the relay is released, and the indicator light switches to dim mode. The audible alarm can only be turned off by pressing the Reset button. Up to five VVA or VVN sensors can be connected in parallel if needed.
The indicator light has two modes: dim and bright. A dim light indicates that the device is powered on.
